I can’t believe that it’s been a year since Emma of Scruffy Little Nerd Herder started up the monthly 6 on 6 prompt! We started last year on August 6th, and it’s been so much fun watching everyone’s photography skills get better and better each month. I haven’t decided if I’m going to  continue with this prompt, but I think it’s definitely one that can keep going and going! This month’s theme was yellow, and I tried to go all out for it. Apparently I have a lot more yellow geekiness in my life than I realized because it was tough to narrow my photos down to just six!

This shirt by Jordandené is so crazy soft! Seriously, it’s one of the comfiest shirts I own, but I could say the same about all of my Jordandené tees<3 This one isn’t for sale anymore, but it was a surprise bonus gift when I ordered my first shirt from this fantastic shop (thanks Jordan!). It’s BRIGHT yellow, so I do turn a few heads when I wear it, but it’s so much fun that I don’t mind the extra attention.

I’ve had this Pikachu plushie for over a year and have included it on the blog a few times, but it’s finally time to really show it off! Such a cutie, and absolutely perfect for this month’s theme.

Okay I’ll admit it, I’m still not into Sherlock. I’ve given it a few tries and I’m just…not feeling it. I’ll give it another go before I write it off completely, but I definitely love this headband and necklace!

This Carl Sagan print by Scott C is literally one of the coolest things I own. Oddly enough, I learned about this artist via my husband, who had never given too much thought to modern art before. We own three of his prints now, but this one is my favorite.

I say that I’m not really into comics…because this is the one comic-book series that I’ve actually read. Don’t get me wrong, I know I’d be all about comics if I really put some effort into buying them, but I just haven’t made the leap yet. Watchmen is one of my favorite stories, and I even enjoyed the movie! Though the ending kind of bummed me out since I was really looking forward to seeing the Squid on the big screen=P

Sometimes the hubby and I do things besides work and play Overwatch! I snapped this shot at a fancy schmancy sushi bar in Palm Springs a couple weeks back and thought it fit this week’s theme perfectly! Gary’s japanese beer looks quite yellow in this photo, and my drink tasted like a lemon drop candy in liquid form! So yummy.

So there you have it! I’ve done twelve month’s worth of 6 on 6 prompts and had a blast with all of them. If you’re interested in checking out my past 6 on 6 posts, they’re all here for you! My favorite of all the months was September, because duh, I’m crazy about purple! I did that post on my old blog, but I’ll share it anyway because I really loved the photos. Which month was your favorite?

  1. Great photos and congrats for completing the circle! 🙂 I started with November’s gold theme, so I still have a few months ahead of me ^^

  2. Ah, Watchmen is so fucking fantastic!! Also, I have that dino tee too in bright pink! It’s such a fun shirt. 😀 Love your pics!

  3. I’m missing the Overwatch screenie! :'(

Haha, j/k. You know, I totally didn’t realize this actually was the last time! I missed some months and already made banners for each month in advance, so I feel inclined to keep going… or at least for those months I missed (but how the heck will I not forget… sigh).

I love all your pics, but the shirt I *really* love. You pull off a real Belle look with it! 🙂

    • Haha, I’m sorry, girly! Hopefully someday I’ll just have a whole bunch of Overwatch screenies to bombard you with:P And I’m glad you still have some months to go, I always love what you post!

Such a compliment, thanks friend! Belle is my very favorite<3
